Maui Honeymoon - Day 3

It's a bird!
It's a plane!
Nope, its just Nathan and Sheryl parasailing!

Yesterday was a really fun, active day! We started our day off parasailing, which was AWESOME! I was super scared, whilst my hubby is making comments like "whoa there is a huge whole in the parachute" "Sher if the line breaks, just pencil dive into the water" "Sher look how high up we are". As scared as I was, it was really cool being up that high (we were on a 1200' line, longest line you can be on), but it was quiet in the sky and everything we looked at was just beautiful. One thing that was neat was that as high up as we were, we could see big fish swimming below us. And the end of the flight before us, the captain dunked the people's feet, but on our turn, he dunked the entire lower half of our bodies... it was funny :)

For the rest of the day we hung out at the Westin. Apparently the reefs in front of our hotel are some of the best snorkeling spots, so we rented some gear, and snorkeled or laid out in the sun for the remainder of the day. The fish down there are so colorful! And I saw an eel. And yes, it scared the you-know-what out of me; so much so that I left Nathan to fend for himself, and I got out of the water. But no worries, I got back in.

Then last night we ate at Leilani's in Whaler's Village. We had an outdoor seat that had the sun been out, would have had a great view. But then again, nothing beats the sound of the waves and the stars at night!
